The SecVI (Security for Vehicular Information) research project is launched. Our target is to secure future in-vehicular networks. In this project a robust and low-complexity network architecture will be developed. It improves the security of message flows. Based on vehicle-specific communication characteristics, the network of a vehicle will be monitored at various levels and shielded against attacks. The results of the SecVI project will be demonstrated in a prototype vehicle.
SecVI is sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The project duration is three years.
